ToolManager
ToolManager is a new PlugIn for GibbsCAM. It is a SQL based Tool and Fixture DataBase
that works standalone or inside GibbsCAM. If used inside GibbsCAM, ToolManager offers
transparent transfer of tools between GibbsCAM and the ToolManager. If you manage
large number of tools/machines, ToolManager will save time and soon be your best friend.
ToolManager functionality includes:
- Easy way to move tools to and from the GibbsCAM internal toollist
- Easy to create groups of tools based for example on machine/toolmanufacturer
- Allows you to structure the work with “toolassemblies”, i.e tools and solidmodel holders
- Allows you to structure the work with fixture-solids, same as with tools
- Easy to search and sort tools, by name, id number, type, manufacturer etc
- Multiple users can share the same database, inside GibbsCAM and standalone
